Exercise #4
"Swimming"
Swimming exercise is good for most patients, especially with most types of low back pain. Swimming is an excellent overall exercise. Try to avoid pools which have lots of chlorine. Swimming should be done in the warmer water usually from 85 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Be careful of overheating the body. Overheating might cause you to become slightly dizzy. If this happens, immediately get out of the water and relax for a few minutes to cool off. Swimming for 30 minutes is a good average time for most patients.
