Exercise #8
"Neck and Shoulder Relax"
1. Lie on back - face up.
2. Shrug shoulders toward head 5 times.
3. Roll head backwards and forwards 5 times (similar to nodding head "yes").
4. Roll head side to side 5 times (similar to shaking head "no").
5. Do the exercises slowly - 1 second for each movement.
6. Concentrate on tightening and relaxing the muscles used in the exercise.
7. Repeat 3 or more times daily.
Always lie down to do this exercise or the muscles may spasm.
