Drown Your Sickness!
WINTER TIME COLDS AND FLU: WATER COULD BE YOUR BEST MEDICINE
Have Colds and Flus knocked you down? Well, now you can drown your sickness. Yes, water is often the answer to many illnesses. Drink more and feel better. At your next party, set up a water bar! The drinks are on the house; free water for everyone! (A good gauge of enough H20, is half your body weight in oz.)
Remember when grandmother had a kettle of water on the wood stove? That water pot was there for more than hot tea. The steam evaporation is a great prevention for colds and flu. When the air is too dry in a house the occupants are sicker more than in a house with some humidity. But, be careful, you do not want too much humidity because in the cool corners and in closets mold will form.
So find an old pan, fill it with water and put it on the stove on the lowest setting. You only need enough heat to evaporate the water slowly. A gallon pan should be refilled in about 8 hours. It does not need to be boiling, just hot enough to evaporate the water.
Some people have cool mist humidifiers. I suggest to not use them. In my experience they increase the frequency of colds. Most of the stores that sell humidifiers and vaporizers, will advise you to purchase the humidifier. Your best purchase is the vaporizer, the hot steam machine. But the cheapest way is to use an old pan that you don’t use anymore. You do not need to keep it clean; just let the minerals build up in the pan if you’d like.
Some of you will ask if you need to put herbs in the pan with the water. You can if you want too. I never do. I eat the herbs.
Remember to turn off the stove when you are leaving your home so you do not cause damage to your pan if it runs out of water. I usually fill the pan with water at night before bed and let it evaporate all night. If you have a wood stove, just put the pan on the stove and fill it up as needed.
Other preventative and helpful remedies are: Onions, garlic, Colloidal Silver, elderberry, lemon-honey water, fruits and veggies.
If you do happen to get ill some of the herbal remedies available in the clinic are; Immune Formula and Ear Relief oil (those 2 are by Sweet Valley Herbs) Also, Standard Process
Supplements: Immuplex, , Congaplex, Echinacea C, Allerplex and Antronex. A lot of remedies to choose from, or best of all, don’t get sick.
